Concatenate String in SQL

To concatenate string to a variable:

DECLARE @locations varchar(200)
SET @locations = ''

select @locations = @locations + Name from Production.Location order by Name

print @locations

To concatenate string in your sql statement:

SELECT  ''+Name
FROM Production.Location
ORDER BY Name
FOR XML PATH('')
